Getting Started
BATTERY BACKUP:
A 9-Volt battery (not included) may be installed as a backup option to maintain the time if
electrical power fails. In the event of a power outage, the time will not appear on the clock LCD
Display, however the clock will continue to operate and the actual time will be maintained. The
Clock LCD Display and other functions will resume once electrical power is restored. If used the
9-Volt battery should be replaced as needed; Remove the battery if the clock is not used or
stored for long periods of time.
SETTING THE CLOCK TIME
Connect the AC power cord to a wall outlet. Press the STANDBY/AL-OFF BUTTON to turn off the
unit first.
1. Press the TIME SET button to enter clock setup mode, the time display will begin to flash.
2. Press the F.FWD/ HOUR button to set desired hour.
3. Press the TIME SET button again to advance to the set MINUTES MODE.
4. Press the REW/ MIN button to set desired minute.
5. Press the TIME SET button to confirm the current clock setting. The time display will stop
flashing.
SETTING THE ALARM FUNCTION
The Radio, iPod, CD or Buzzer will automatically sound at the designated time every day. You can
set two different alarm times, one in AL1 and one in AL2, So that the alarm function operates twice a
day.
Wake Up to Alarm Radio, iPod, CD or Buzzer
FOR RADIO ALARM:
1. Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to “RADIO” position.
2. Slide the BAND SWITCH to AM, FM-MO or FM-ST and tune in the desired station.
3. Adjust the volume.
4. Press the STANDBY/AL-OFF BUTTON to turn off the unit first.
5. The radio will sound at the set alarm time.
FOR iPod ALARM:
1. Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to “iPod” position.
2. Insert the iPod into the the iPod Connector.
3. Adjust the volume.
4. Press the STANDBY/AL-OFF BUTTON to turn off the unit first.
5. The radio will sound at the set alarm time.
